The Zambia Interdisciplinary Journal of Education (ZIJE) `is a journal recently introduced by the Department of Educational Psychology, Sociology and Special Education in the School of Education at the University of Zambia. The papers are subjected to a double blind peer review process. STRUCTURE OF SUBMITTED ARTICLES Paper Title page The title page of the paper should include: • Title of the article • Author surname (s) and first name (s) • Affiliation (s) • e-mail address of corresponding author Abstract and Key words Authors should provide an abstract (not exceeding 300 words). The abstract should be in italics and single spaced, 12 point font and should state the main research problem, methodology, major findings and conclusions. Authors should also include not more than five key words at the bottom of the abstract. Structure of the Paper The paper may include the following: • Introduction and/or background plus an integration of literature • Research questions/objectives/ hypotheses • Methodology - (A description of the methods and materials used to collect data) • Findings/Results • Discussion • Conclusions and recommendations • References NOTE: Research based papers should be between 6000-8000 words including title, abstract, key words, tables/figures and references. Papers beyond the word limit will be returned to authors. Maps, charts and graphs used should be provided within the main body text.
