Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

STRUCTURE OF SUBMITTED ARTICLES Paper Title page The title page of the paper should include: • Title of the article • Author surname (s) and first name (s) • Affiliation (s) • e-mail address of corresponding author Abstract and Key words Authors should provide an abstract (not exceeding 300 words). The abstract should be in italics and single spaced, 12 point font and should state the main research problem, methodology, major findings and conclusions. Authors should also include not more than five key words at the bottom of the abstract. Structure of the Paper The paper may include the following: • Introduction and/or background plus an integration of literature • Research questions/objectives/ hypotheses • Methodology - (A description of the methods and materials used to collect data) • Findings/Results • Discussion • Conclusions and recommendations • References NOTE: Research based papers should be between 6000-8000 words including title, abstract, key words, tables/figures and references. Papers beyond the word limit will be returned to authors. Maps, charts and graphs used should be provided within the main body text. The American Psychological Association referencing style will be accepted. For instance, i. Book chapters: Johnson. E & Muzata, K.K. Theses and dissertations: should provide the handle link of the university where the thesis or dissertation is sitting. Copyright All rights reserved once an article is submitted to the journal. Republication is not allowed. Publication The journal will be published online and will eventually be indexed under Google-scholar, research gate and other reputable indexing organisations. There will be one issue in September of each year.
